Pro Horses category
The Pro Horses category is the 3rd category of Artistic Dressage; it has only one rider level:
- ADULT: from 15 years old.
The horse is schooled to Low School level and above.
It is a horse able to perform High School movements such as piaffe, passage, tempi changes and pirouettes.
It also shows movements drawn from other riding traditions - for example spins from Western riding, jumped pirouettes, or vaquera pirouettes from Spanish riding. The trainer's challenge is to combine all the aids so that the horse does not confuse one with another, and can perform them through every transition to make a dance.
PLEASE NOTE, a horse that has already competed at "PRO" level cannot go back to "AMATEUR" level, even with a different rider.
