Cat. Open Pro horses
The Open Pro Horses category is the 4th category of Artistic Dressage; it has only one rider level:
- ADULT: from 15 years old.
The horse is schooled to High School level and above.
It is a horse able to perform High School movements together with a substantial range of extra movements, so as to take on sophisticated choreography. This category has no equivalent in the other equestrian disciplines.
This category allows great freedom in the choreography and in the program to be performed. The rider may use arm movements, or ride with the reins fastened to the belt, as can be seen in some of Jenny's videos. Imagination combined with a very high level of technique opens the way to the boldest choreography of all.
This is the highest level of Artistic Dressage, and surely the most beautiful thing to be seen in dressage.
