Article 8 — The horses

Artistic Dressage is open to every breed, purebred and unrecorded breeding alike, sport horses and leisure horses alike. There is no age limit.

Horses must be up to date with their vaccinations, comply with health regulations, and be covered by public liability insurance.

THE HORSE'S WELLBEING COMES BEFORE PERFORMANCE. A program may be stopped at any moment when the horse is in difficulty or in distress. Any judge who sees this reports it immediately to the supervisor, to whom the decision to stop belongs (article 15).

Any incorrect behaviour towards the horse is sanctioned, up to exclusion from the Federation.
