Article 6 — Determining the level
The level of entry is set by the horse's real degree of schooling, whatever its origin, whatever its competition history and whoever its rider.
A horse ESTABLISHED in High School belongs in the Pro categories. A horse still in schooling, whose rider is working towards High School movements without their being confirmed, remains at Amateur level.
A horse that has competed in any Pro category may no longer be entered at Amateur level, even with a different rider.
The jury assesses this at the presentation. A horse established in High School entered at Amateur is moved up to a Pro category: it is not eliminated, its program is judged in that category, and the rider is informed. The move up applies to subsequent entries.
A High School movement shown at Amateur level does not mean elimination. It simply earns no credit in the score, the choreography being judged at the level entered. If it reveals an established horse, the jury moves the pair up.
