Article 12 — Online competition

RECORDING THE PROGRAM

• The program is filmed in a single take, without editing. Rehearsal recordings beforehand are recommended.
• Camera on a tripod, at about 1 metre high. Zoom is recommended so that the pair remains clearly visible.
• Light behind the camera.
• No vertical video.
• No retouching of the image and no colour grading.

SOUND

• The music source is placed 1 metre from the camera.
• Record without a Bluetooth link: it shifts the sound against the picture and falsifies the assessment of synchronisation, to the pair's cost.
• Outdoors generally gives better sound than an indoor school.

FORMAT — MP4, 1920 × 1080, h264 codec, AAC audio, bitrate 2 to 4 Mb/s.

SUBMISSION — Videos are submitted in the space provided. Submission closes automatically at midnight on the announced deadline. No video can be submitted after that: the closing is technical and involves no judgement of any kind.

VIDEO QUALITY — A poor-quality video is not refused: it is judged as it stands, the judges making the best of what they can see. The quality of the filming counts towards the presentation mark.
